What Does True Joy Look Like?

By Fred Dannhauser

For me the “why” of working with Focus CFO is to provide a service to entrepreneurs that helps them be more successful. One of the responsibilities I face as an Area President of Focus CFO is educating the community on the fractional CFO services that we offer. In addition, I feel so very fortunate and grateful for all that I have received in my life, and because of that, I have always tried to be active in my community either by giving financially or volunteering for various non-profits over the years. Since joining Focus CFO, I have been able to merge these two passions. Many times, great non-profit organizations have fund raising opportunities and are looking for sponsors. In those cases, I have funded them by utilizing Focus CFO as the sponsor. To me it becomes the classic win/win…..helping a worthy cause and letting others know about Focus CFO. A recent example was sponsoring Promedica’s Impact and Inspire event supporting the Ebeid Institute. The Ebeid Institute is leveraging “social determinants” to improve individuals health. There is a strong correlation between your diet, job, budget etc. that data clearly demonstrates impacts your health. From a CFO perspective it is awesome to see this “investment” improve community health AND the lower healthcare costs. This combination of helping my community and making the community aware of FocusCFO’s mission to help entrepreneurs brings me true joy.

Fred is an Area President for FocusCFO based out of Toledo, OH
