Solving complex financial issues comes naturally to former Penn State Wrestling Academic All-American

PHILADELPHIA – FocusCFO, the nationwide leader in fractional CFO services for growing and diversified businesses, is now supporting clients throughout greater Philadelphia, including South Jersey, under the direction of Cameron Wade. Wade – a seasoned financial leader with more than a decade of experience in financial analysis, consulting, and leadership – will lead FocusCFO’s operations in the region as Area President.

“This is an exciting time to do business in the city of Philadelphia, where 90% of the business community is made up of small ventures,” Wade said in a statement. “We could not be more bullish on the growing greater Philadelphia market for fractional CFO services focused on small and mid-sized businesses and non-profits,” Wade said. “Over the past few decades, the fractional CFO has matured from fad to fixture among highly successful enterprises. At FocusCFO, we provide invaluable financial expertise to support growth, sustainability, and success, without burdening our clients with a costly full-time financial leader.”

Cameron Wade: A Champion for SMBs in Philadelphia

Wade is an ideal fit as the new FocusCFO leader in the area, given his extensive background in business and finance. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in finance from Penn State - where he was a four-time academic All-American wrestler - he served as a financial analyst, manager, and consultant. Subsequent senior leadership opportunities included serving as CFO and President of his own consulting firm, as well as holding senior financial leadership positions at companies in the energy, technology, and consulting sectors. As Area President for FocusCFO, Wade brings a unique blend of hands-on experiences that translate into actionable strategies for growth and profitability for clients.

“My goal is to partner with ambitious SMBs to unlock their full potential while I work to recruit experienced financial leaders to join our network of fractional CFOs and provide businesses in Philadelphia with unparalleled financial expertise,” Wade said.

FocusCFO: Two decades of growth

Wade joins FocusCFO at a time of nationwide expansion for the firm, which was founded more than 20 years ago by Brad Martyn, who continues to serve the company as president. FocusCFO now operates in 29 markets and has served more than 1,100 clients to date.

“Our goal as an organization is to give business owners financial control over their companies and the freedom to change their lives,” Martyn said. “We provide CFO services on a fractional basis, which means clients get all the advantages of a full-time CFO on terms that are flexible and affordable. With a CFO on the management team, the business owner is free to focus on what they do best: building great products and services and growing revenue.”
