Bob has over 40 years of diverse business and finance experience with companies all headquartered out of central Pennsylvania. His leadership journey began at two manufacturers and transitioned to a retail distributor. His leadership roles were in public, family and private equity owned businesses. Bob led M&A transactions over the last 30 years, both buying and selling. A key motivation for Bob was to invest in a group of leaders – a team – who strived to craft a culture that attracted customers, vendors, and employees.
Before FocusCFO
Prior to joining FocusCFO, Bob held senior financial, M&A and administrative roles, including Secretary/Treasurer, Vice President of Administration, and Chief Strategy Officer for a large public manufacturing company with locations around the United States and Europe. He then served as CFO with a team enabling the turnaround of a $35 million manufacturer of specialty building products that was acquired by its key competitor. For the last 18 years, Bob was President of a leading multi-location Building Products supplier serving the custom builder and remodeler. After graduating from Shippensburg University with a BSBA in Accounting, Bob graduated from Western Kentucky University with an MBA.
- What is your favorite way to spend free time? Snowmobiling – over 2,000 miles/year. Also enjoy tennis, golf, and spending time with family. Avid reader – novels, non-fiction, and faith oriented.
- What was your favorite vacation? Finding rest at a vacation home near Fenwick Island with my wife Cheryl. We enjoy watching professional tennis – regulars at the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati. Annual summer visits to Family Camp at Sandy Cove Ministries located on the headwaters of the Chesapeake Bay.
- What is your favorite book? Avid reader – novels, non-fiction, and faith oriented.

Bob desires to invest in business leaders as an advisor and friend. He enjoys listening as leaders think through processes or issues that hinder results. Ultimately, he’s interested in helping them succeed in business, but also in life.
