This year, a beloved friend and long-time FocusCFO associate was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. We dedicated this year's annual fundraiser during our October 2023 All Hands meeting to support the ALS Association and, specifically, ALS research.
FocusCFO associates contributed a total of $84,450 to the ALS Association. We are grateful for the compassion and benevolence of our team.
ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. There is no cure for ALS yet. We chose the ALS Association because it is the largest philanthropic funder of ALS research in the world, supporting projects from around the globe. Their goal is to make ALS a livable disease for everyone, everywhere until we can cure it.
"Our Organization is so grateful for the generosity of FocusCFO's associates. Their commitment to supporting ALS research shows their compassion for those diagnosed with this devastating disease. This donation will go a long way towards making ALS a liveable disease nationwide."
