We are constantly adding new people to our team. To be successful with FocusCFO, each associate must have the desire and ability to play a role in both expanding our client base and becoming a trusted advisor to each individual client they are assigned. We call this “getting clients and keeping clients”. In other words, you need the drive to help with our group marketing efforts and the experience to deliver the highest quality CFO support to our clients.
Generally, this means having at least 20-25 years’ experience providing senior-level finance and accounting services, including significant CFO experience. You should be current on local businesses, their needs and market trends.
Our business model allows members of our team to balance both business development and client delivery, depending on each individual’s skill set. To be successful, you must have a strong understanding of how a CFO works with business owners, how to work in entrepreneurial environments and how business really works. In addition, you must have a willingness to be involved in local business development and group activities as you will work as part of the CFO team in your local market.
